Prepare your download before the party

Complete-Offline-Kit.zip contains the game you open in Chrome (HTML), START-HERE instructions and ten PDFs: Start Here, player pack, host guide, invitation and certificate, each in A4 and US Letter.

Save and extract the ZIP, read the host guidance and try the game offline before the event. Keep a second local copy and use the guide to lead the team throughout. No cutting, special locks or clues hidden around the room are needed.

Digital play: Windows desktop, Chrome and JavaScript enabled. Paper play: printer, paper and pencils. The shared ten-page player pack and separate seven-page host guide cover paper-only play; other sheets are optional.

Keep the kit for future private parties

USD19 base price. Review applicable charges and the final total at checkout. An itch.io account is optional; keep your receipt private for purchase access and recovery.

Keep and print the kit for repeated private, noncommercial parties you host, including hosting as a gift for a child and friends, with cohosts helping at the event. Do not resell, publish or pass on files for others to host independently. The downloaded game and PDFs remain usable offline.

File recovery and support

Email ThePanicDevelopment@gmail.com with your edition and a brief problem description. For recovery, use the purchasing address and include your order reference. Do not send receipt links, keys, passwords, card details or children's information. We aim to reply within two Polish business days, excluding weekends and Polish public holidays.

90-day exact-file recovery. Requests received through the end of the 90th calendar day after the original receipt purchase date remain eligible while processed. After verification, we send the exact purchased ZIP; unclear dates are resolved in your favour. Partial refunds or adjustments retain recovery. Voluntary recovery ends once completed refunds cumulatively cover the full purchase amount. Downloaded usability is unaffected. This service is separate from itch.io receipt recovery and current listing downloads.

Missing, corrupt or materially faulty delivery: contact support for assessment and a working matching copy or a remedy required by law. The recovery period and provider windows do not limit mandatory rights, including Australian consumer guarantees; digital delivery does not remove faulty-content remedies. There is no extra voluntary change-of-mind refund window, and these terms do not waive applicable statutory withdrawal rights.

Purchases: itch.io is the Merchant of Record. It and its payment providers handle adult billing, contact and payment data for purchases, receipts, file access, fraud prevention, tax, disputes and legal duties. Storefront and purchase pages use service/security cookies and may collect page-view, download and referrer analytics. See itch.io's privacy policy, cookie policy and terms.

Support data: we receive your email, order reference, message, supplied name and attachments. These are voluntary, but we need a reply address and enough information to help. Our bases are the contract for purchase support and recovery; legitimate interests in general support and establishing or defending claims; and legal obligations for necessary legal records and statutory privacy requests.

We delete our ordinary support emails and saved attachments six months after resolution. Unresolved matters remain until resolved; necessary legal/dispute records remain until the obligation ends or claims can no longer be pursued. itch.io retains transactions separately.

Listing measurement: Party of Clues uses Google Analytics 4 linked to Google Ads to understand visits and measure advertising and conversions. Google may receive page URLs, your IP address and technical data, and set or read cookies. Ad personalization is disabled in our Analytics property and Ads link. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services for data uses and controls.

Downloaded play: progress stays in local browser storage when available; exported saves stay under your control. Follow the guide for backup or moving progress; storage and file location can affect it, and file recovery cannot restore it. Invitation/contact and certificate details stay in the tab and any file you print, outside progress saves.

Google services and transfers: Google provides and protects our ordinary Gmail support and uses data as described in Google's privacy policy. Its deletion and backups can take longer (see Google's retention information); deleting our copy does not delete yours. Support and measurement data may be processed outside Poland and the European Economic Area, including the United States. Published safeguards include applicable adequacy decisions, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses where needed; see Google's transfer information or ask us for details and copies. Necessary records may be disclosed to authorities where legally required.

Your rights: request access, correction, deletion or restriction; data portability applies where its legal conditions are met. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons related to your situation. We may need proportionate information to identify records and verify you. We make no automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. You may complain to Poland's data protection authority (UODO) or the authority where you live, work or the alleged infringement occurred, without contacting us first.
